CAD Technician (EDMS Solutions)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a CAD Technician (EDMS Solutions) based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Leeds. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, Monday to Friday, paying £15.00 per hour.

Main Purpose of Role:

• To create and to develop 2D technical drawings, general arrangements and layouts in using AutoCAD2018.
• To implement an electronic drawing management system for accurate electronic version control
• To continually update all standard drawing templates and drawing blocks

Candidate/ Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an AutoCAD Technician/Draughtsperson is essential. Background in mechanical/civil disciplines preferred.
• Ability to use AutoCAD2018 proficiently
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Experience required in deploying EDMS solutions. (Electronic Document Management Software) an example software suite is Autodesk Vault, used to manage technical drawings
