Job Information Manpower Ashford is looking for a Medicine Support Worker to work with our client based in Paddock Wood. The purpose of the job is to prepare the Trusts medicines packs ready for operational use and register medicines related data. Key duties: Compliance with the Trusts Medicines Management Policy and Manual relevant to area of responsibility. Preparation of the Trusts medicines packs according to a standard load list, using the Trusts electronic systems for managing such processes in the medicines packing process. Ensure all medicines being packed are in date and not subject to a recallEnsure continued supply of stocked medicines packs ready for the appropriate distribution to operational staffRecording of incidents where medicines have been used during patient careAssist in the locating and safe securing of medicines in the event of a recall or incidentUse of appropriate resources including telephone & PC.Attend appropriate training as deemed necessary and create and maintain a personal development file.Establish and maintain communications with Trust staff and other departments as necessary.Develop own knowledge and skills by asking questions and provide information to others when required.Maintain a safe working environment for self and others, reporting any identified issues to line manager.To develop and maintain highly effective filing systems in accordance with Trust guidance for records management (paper and electronic), to ensure key information can be stored and retrieved when required.Under the Data Protection Act ensure shredding and destruction of documents as and when required. The job consists of varied tasks requiring some flexibility of mind and personal organisation to determine priorities and handle more than one issue at a time.The post holder will be expected to work as part of a a team to deliver key performance indicators as appropriateWorking hours are 9am - 5pm If you are interested in this opportunity and you are available to start immediately then apply today.
