Demand and Inventory Manager

Manpower is looking for a Demand and Inventory Manager to join one our most valued clients, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of stationary items. To be based at their state-of-the-art facility in Dalkieth, the Demand and Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing all stock position across all channels and covering product purchasing, supply and demand.

This is a well-established business, market leaders in the stationary industry with over 30 distributors around the world which makes up its international market.

As the Demand and Inventory Manager you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the right products are available at the right time and reducing costs while maintaining quality.
• Contributing to the creation of the supply chain strategy and implementing and managing processes to improve forecast accuracy.
• Controlling stock management for the UK including the introduction of new products through to obsolete parts.

To be successful in the role of Demand and Inventory Manager you will be expected to have the following skills and experience:

• Mid-senior management experience in a similar role.
• Experience of stock management across multiple site locations.
• A natural drive for continuous improvement and be able to implement structured processes and procedures.

In return for your services you will receive an outstanding remuneration package which includes a salary circa £38,000 - £45,000 based on experience.
