Grounds Maintenance

We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance candidates to work in the Cambridge and surrounding area.

Pay is between £9 to £14 depending on experience.

Dates are June to end of October.

Must have own car.

Responsibilities and Duties

Wide range of duties, but at least:

• Grass cutting
• Strimming
• Weeding
• Shrub pruning
• Hedge trimming
• Tree/shrub/herbaceous planting
• Watering
• Litter picking
• Gritting
• Mulch applications
• Seasonal bed/border preparation

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain equipment provided
• Complete work assigned within time given
• Follow company health & safety requirements
• Manage own time travelling from/to client sites
• Work as a team

Qualifications Desired:

• PA1/6 certificate
• Level 1/2/3 certificate in amenity horticulture, or related field
• Clean driving licence (C1 ideally)
• Any other relevant certificates of competency in use of horticultural/agricultural equipment

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of plants & their requirements
• Basic knowledge of plant disorders
• Able-bodied

Experience:

• Use & maintenance of hedge trimmers, mowers, strimmers, ride-on mowers, shredders, chippers etc
