Working for our client at the Port of Blyth you will be responsible for the accurate receipt and issue of stock relating to overhead and projects.

Responsibilities

Receipt of Goods

Load and unload vehicles for deliveries or dispatches

Pick part list items from work packs

Pick and pack parts for dispatch

Maintain accurate stock records

Raise Purchase Requisitions

Issue and receive tools, equipment and PPE

Deliver and collect goods as and when required.

Candidate Profile

Previous experience of working in a Engineering Stores

Competent IT skills in Excel and MRP

Good knowledge of tool, lifting and safety equipment.

Team Player

Attention to Detail

Manage and prioritize workload

Good communication skills both verbally and written.

Qualifications

GCSE in Maths and English

Valid Counter Balance and Reach Forklift Licences

Overhead Crane Certificate (Desirable)

Slinging and Rigging Tickets (Desirable

Full clean driving licence essential.
