Manpower are working for a Sales ledger on behalf of our client based in the Glasgow
As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will perform a broad and varied role that will include raising proformas, using Sage systems to create sales order and sales invoices, whilst assisting with credit checks, raising purchase orders, completing bank reconciliations and undertaking purchase ledger duties. You will work in a friendly and supportive accounts team that promotes progression and personal growth.
Key Accountabilities:
* Dealing with any queries regarding invoices and credit notes
* Proactively Liaising/communicating with internal and external customers
* Customer query resolution both internal and external
* Cash Allocations for sales invoices into the system
* Credit control
* Checking invoices and credit notes to ensure they are correct
* Liaising with debtors via telephone and email
* Assist with collection of outstanding invoices
* Reconciliation of customer accounts
* Production of existing and new sales reports
* Investigation and resolve un-invoiced sales
* Invoicing
Skills
* Candidate must be a good communicator.
* Previous experience of working within Sales Ledger is essential.
* Strong IT skills, including being a competent Excel user and the ability to work across multiple applications simultaneously.
* Ability to work under pressure whilst carrying out multiple tasks.
* Ability to work accurately, without supervision, and to deadlines.
Hours
Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 - with free parking available.
