Manpower are currently recruiting for a Draughtsperson for their client based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. This is a full time role working on a temporary - permanent basis with a probation period of 3 months. The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of a diverse and trusted range of concrete and clay building products used extensively within the construction industry. They are looking for a keen and proactive individual to join their team in Swadlincote.

The main purpose of the role is to provide details, designs and schedules for the client's range of flooring and stair systems. Focusing on high levels of customer service, you will gather and correctly interpret our clients flooring requirements to achieve the timely issue of designs and schedules ensuring quotation and programme requirements are met.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following:

Designs - Production of accurate and cost effective beam & block, Jetfloor, and hollowcore flooring and stair designs using an in-house design package.

Detailing - Timely and accurate production of flooring layouts using CAD design packages.

Scheduling - Timely and accurate issuing of schedules to ensure internal and external programme requirements are met.

Liaison - With external parties to establish design requirements, resolve technical queries and chase information and approvals in a timely manner.

Contract Variations - Identification, evaluation and agreement of project variations.

Continuous Improvement - Contribute to improvements in business processes and procedures.

  • AutoCAD experience
  • Good attention to detail

  • The successful candidate will be paid a salary of up to £27k (negotiable depending on experience).
