The Course Co-ordinator is responsible for facilitating the delivery of a range of Contract and Non-contract Funded training courses delivered both on site at the RTC, Aldershot and regionally across the UK.

The Course Co-ordinator will support the RTC Operations Manager and CTP Head of Training in the establishment, running and monitoring of vocational training courses.

The post holder will also on occasion support the RTC Admin Manager in a range of tasks to assist training administration and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for ensuring that all central admin functions to support training are carried out in accordance with RM's Operating Procedures. This includes assessing course viability and liaising with the RTC Operations Manager over confirmation or cancellation decisions.

Responsible for contributing to, monitoring and updating of, central admin Operating Procedures.

Responsible for maintaining the 'Associate Provider' database and ensuring it is up to date with relevant contact details.

Responsible for ensuring all associate providers have contract agreements in place as supplied by Head of Training.

To be main point of contact for providers with emphasis on addressing student queries and assisting providers with remote courses when running by creating and providing essential paperwork in line with MoD requirements.

Responsible for establishing accreditation with relevant awarding bodies in order that training courses can be delivered in strict compliance with those authority rules.

Responsible for ensuring that accreditation does not lapse and renew it as appropriate.

Prompt registration of exam dates and student details with Awarding Bodies by specific deadlines.

Responsible for administration of submission of student course assessments to the relevant awarding body.

Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of modular courses at the RTC by planning and co-ordinating the various modules, liaising with tutors, confirming tutor bookings.

Responsible for assisting with annual course timetabling and contacting all tutors to confirm arrangements/dates.

Responsible for supplying information for reports for the RTC Operations Manager and CTP Head of Training as requested.

Preparation and dispatch of Awarding Body certificates for the RTC and regional centres to students.

General

Responsible for providing cover for the administrator/s during absences. This includes course bookings and other course administration as required.

Responsible for assisting with exam administration when required.

Supporting CBIC course booking cloud call phone line during emergency handovers

Responsible for undertaking any other tasks which may reasonably be requested by the Operations Manager/ Head of Training.
