Due to expansion our well established client is looking for an Audit Compliance Officer to cover London and the South East.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Reporting to the Group Quality Manager, the individual will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting internal audit visits to properties, or offices, on behalf of the Group Quality Manager
  • Completion of internal audit checklists during, or following, audit visits (as above)
  • Recommending appropriate corrective/preventative actions following audit visits
  • Conducting random safety visits to identified locations (property or office) and completing reports
  • Assessing/reviewing the property portfolio to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
  • To understand, and promote compliance to, established company internal policies/ procedures
  • Providing advice and guidance to group colleagues on issues relating to any of the ISO standards
  • Provide assistance to all group companies with specific contractual compliance issues
  • To ensure that fire risk management systems are in place in order to meet the statutory obligations
  • To attend meetings with relevant stakeholders as instructed by the Group Quality Manager
  • To cover for the Group Quality Manager during periods of absence

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A practical knowledge of internal auditing and completion of audit reports/ documentation
  • Evidence of a clear understanding of more than one of the following ISO standards; 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems

14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems

22301:2012 Business Continuity Management Systems

27001:2013 Information Security management Systems

45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems

  • A proven track record of team-based duties and the appropriate communication skills
  • Evidence of relevant qualifications in regard to both audit and H&S activities
  • Time management skills and ability to adapt to unexpected developments
  • Current driving licence and car owner
  • Ability to travel to complete the various duties assigned

In return, you will benefit from 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days with service, pension and life insurance.

Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience, plus fuel allowance
