PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A 3 MONTH CONTRACT FOR 17 HOURS PER WEEK

Our client, one of the UK's leading energy suppliers, is looking for a Project Support Officer to complete a temporary assignment with them on a major project. Working as part of the Technical Directorate Civils team in Bristol, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team to close open points and manage the progress through the processes to release design packages to site.


The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis (17 hours per week), with the willingness to do extra hours on occasion and with advance notice.

Main Responsibilities:

*Support the team's tracking of incoming deliverables for civil design packages from the designers and the team's acceptance of those deliverables in line with the project schedule.
*Resolve problems with document delivery, including working with stakeholders in the document management team to ensure clarity of priorities.
*Ensure effective tracking of all open points and issues.
*Support the team to ensure timely closure of all open points and completion of associated actions.
*Deliver KPI tracking and schedule awareness to ensure that topics are closed in alignment with the programme need dates.
*Manage and communicate with internal stakeholders.
*Work with the team and the document management teams to create and populate distribution matrices for all civil programme contracts.


Main Skills and Experience Required:

*Previous project support experience.
*Confident computing skills with normal office software packages (MS Office).
*Excellent communication skills.
*Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
*A methodical, motivated and customer-focused approach to work.
*Team player with the ability to work well on their own.
