Kit Picker/ Stores Person

Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Kit Pickers based in Loughton. This is a full time, temporary position with an immediate start.

Job Title: Picker - Immediate Start! Salary: £8.75 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 7.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday

7.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday (39 hours per week)

30 minutes lunch, 15 minutes tea break

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Duration of placement: Minimum 3 - 6 months

JOB PROFILE

Manpower are pleased to be currently recruiting on behalf of our client for pickers based in Loughton. This is a full time, temporary position with an immediate start.

We are looking for accurate and hard-working individuals that can think on their feet in a fast paced environment and use their initiative to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.

You will be working as part of a team, picking equipment for the assembly line.

It is essential that you have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You must have excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

DUTIES

• Responsible for kit picking and processing, working to predetermined picking list, preparing kits of parts for assembly on the shop floor.
• To ensure any outstanding shortages are delivered to shop floor.
• The maintenance and control of all stock within the department, this includes responsibility for goods inwards, putting items away in correct locations after counting, etc.
• Preparation of spares orders for despatch to customers both in the UK and overseas.
• To ensure the highest level of good housekeeping is maintained within your department a all times.
