Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operator

I am looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operator to join our Client who is located in Milton Park in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Our client develops innovative spectroscopic analysis products. The company is growing and has a requirement to build on its instrument manufacturing capability.

The Role:

The position is for a temporary Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operator to work within a small production facility building systems in standard and custom configurations.

The role requires the following expertise:

• Electrical panel and sub-assembly wiring;
• Cable-form assembly;
• Electro-Mechanical assembly;
• Testing of all finished products, cable-forms, PCB's and sub-assemblies;
• Comprehensive understanding of all technical documentation including Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Electronic Schematic Diagrams, Cable-form Assembly Drawings, Mechanical Build Assembly Drawings;

The Candidate: It is essential that you can work well as a critical member of a small multi-disciplined team. A committed individual with at least 6 years practical experience, you will be able to demonstrate previous compliance to relevant quality standards and should be able to perform all tasks required with the minimum supervision.
