Reporting directly to the Sales Team Manager and supporting the Sales/Hire Management Team with business development in existing and new markets, increasing company sales through pro-active business development and internal account management.

This is an oppertunity to work in Construction and Excavator Attachment sales - this is an exciting opportunity for a sales driven person who enjoys the thrill of gaining new business!

Key Duties:

  • Carry out regular telephone calls to customers for business retention and to build rapport
  • Taking full ownership of your own sales performance against sales/call targets
  • Price enquiries, preparing and sending out & follow up quotes
  • Daily calls with Area Sales Managers (ASM's)
  • Sales and hire enquiry progression - converting sales enquiries in to sales / hires
  • Promote attachment repairs / parts service to customers and prospects & liaise with Depot Manager accordingly
  • Researching existing key clients, keeping in touch with the key personnel by phone and developing these accounts further alongside the ASM's
  • Maintains & updates CRM system with timely & accurate data
  • Booking appointments for Sales Managers
  • Sending out company information to customers and following up
  • Follow up email marketing data and convert to sales or hire
  • Creating brand awareness
  • Liaise with the Depot Manager regarding hire orders
  • General ad-hoc admin duties

Key Competencies:

  • Telesales experience
  • Ability to multi task & remain calm in difficult or pressurised situation
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to build relationships with customers and potential customers
  • Motivated Self-starter & great team player
  • Excellent IT skills (Previous experience of CRM program an advantage)
