Our client is seeking a Learning Administrator to provide a high quality learning support service for employee learning and development enquiries across the organisation. As the "first point of contact" for all learning and development enquiries from employees and external delivery partners, they will provide effective end to end administration and logistical services for training and people development events from demand management through to invoicing and billing as well as acting as the point of contact for any policy related enquiry .

Through the provision of an employee "helpdesk"they will offer telephone / virtual coaching and or guidance to identify the correct development tool for current or future skill requirement as well as provide guidance on any policy related enquiry

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide excellent levels of customer service - supporting the Learning Services Manager in identifying areas of improvement to increase learner satisfaction and drive business efficiency
  • Provide guidance and coaching to EDF Energy employees on the available learning and development tools to meet individual needs - ensuring an up to date knowledge of all learning products, tools and resources both in the external market (including open source) as well as those within EDF Energy learning catalogue to enable the provision of accurate and current guidance and coaching on available learning resources via the Employee Helpdesk.
  • Liaise closely with the External Funding Specialists to share information regarding business learning requirements
  • As the "first point of contact" for all learning and development enquiries via an employee helpdesk - ensure all queries are received and resolved within agreed performance indicators including Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of data and reporting with the accurate and timely recording of all training activity in SAP, Success Factors, LMS, MyCampus and other appropriate systems in line with relevant processes. Ensure cost effective delivery of learning services by ensuring all expenditure is raised, reviewed and approved in line with agreed EDF Energy policies and processes and accurately recorded via appropriate tools and systems
  • Ensure the booking and scheduling process for all events is smooth and effective with all parties involved in the process receiving the required information in line with agreed timescales and quality standards
  • Liaise with the Learning Sourcing Partners regarding current preferred suppliers - supporting in the performance management process of key providers - developing excellent working relationships to facilitate high quality learning provision
  • Act as an advocate for Learning related policies and processes. Provide first line support guidance and ensure all applications and requests are processed in line with agreed processes. Support the Learning Services Manager in ensuring learning and development policies are up to date and reflective of current EDF Energy requirements and best practice
  • Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders such as People Development Colleagues, external providers and other EDF Energy Training Teams to ensure quality learning provision.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing and other financial activities

Skills, Qualifications, Experience

Essential

  • Able to demonstrate a strong customer orientated approach
  • Knowledge of administrative services - raising PO's. invoice processing,. Ability to work at high levels of accuracy
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems including Learning Management Systems, SAP, Enquiry Management Systems
  • Experience of working closely with External Vendors and Suppliers
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Proven background in providing first line Learning Support service to a range of employees and managers including the co-ordination of learning events
  • Background in provision of coaching services
  • CIPD qualified (Certificate in Training Practice) or equivalent through experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills are essential as well as demonstrable relationship management and influencing skills
  • Numerical and analytical skills
