Transport Planner

Our client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Transport Planner to join their Glasgow based office on a permanent basis.

You will be involved in the technical delivery of a range of transport planning projects including strategy, appraisal, modelling and business case projects, with opportunities to work for various high profile clients across the UK.

The successful candidate will have the following:

* Proven ability to schedule and plan routes across central Scotland

* Strong knowledge and understanding of the operator's license compliance legislation

* Be able to successfully communicate and supervise drivers on a daily basis

* Proven ability to ensure drivers comply with WTD and adhere to drivers legislation

* Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
