Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client - a leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for an Investment Administrator based at their prestigious facility in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working 36.25 hours per week. This role is paying between £31600-39500 pro rata per annum, depending on experience.
The specific tasks associated with the role are summarised below:
- Prepare the Annual planner for the Board of Director meetings
- Prepare and coordinate Board of Directors meetings by:
- Drafting the agenda
- Collecting the papers
- Reviewing the papers ensuring these are clear and complete
- Reviewing all service provider reports to ensure these are clear and complete
- Organising a walk through of agenda and papers with Chair
- Finalising agenda and papers
- Own the action log from the Board of Director meetings and ensure adequate follow up and actions can be closed before next meeting
- Provide support for Investment manager appointments by collecting required information with Investment Manager (checklist) and providing collected information to legal advisor
- Ensure contracts are signed and procedure is completed
- Onboard a transition manager (when applicable)
- Oversee the transition for start to finish from a planning and reporting perspective
- Understand the nature of required change from Investment team (for example new investment opportunity) and collect relevant information from tax, legal advisors and pooled funds service provider.
- Coordinate changes in formal pooled fund documentation (Prospectus, KIID, Articles, application forms)
- Liaise with service provider to understand which documents need change, collect input from Investment team for change and provide instruction and input to legal advisor.
- Report on progress to Board of Directors
- Review service provider pre-populated (tax) forms to investors to ensure these are correct
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 A-C passes at A-Level standard (or equivalent)
- Experience working in either fund or pensions administration, with a level of financial awareness and good understanding of pensions and investments
- Strong organisational skills and be able to coordinate work to meet deadlines
- The ability to work independently and project manage themselves
- Excellent written skills
- Experience in working with external service providers
- Excellent communication skills - must be proactive and have the confidence to chase
