Domestic Appliance Engineer

A Domestic Appliance Engineer vacancy has become available within a global manufacturing leader in electrical appliances. Our client is a well-established provider of domestic appliances offering a new opportunity.

The Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment and complete diagnostic checks to confirm the fault or repair / parts required.
• Driving to customer premises in and around the region servicing a range of domestic appliances.
• Apply skills and knowledge to provide a complete repair service aiming to fix appliances where authorised on the first visit.
• Liaising with the office Admin team on stock required to complete repairs if we cannot offer a one visit repair to enable correct ordering of the required part, relaying any further details that may be relevant for reporting purposes.

The area of work will include Launceston- Okehampton - Torrington - Bude

Essentials:

• Have previous experience working on a variety of appliances including washing machines, cookers, fridges, freezers, dishwashers, tumble dryers, hobs etc.
• Ability to install Integrated appliances
• Have exceptional customer service skills
• Driving license

Holiday Entitlement:

• 33 Days inc Bank Holidays

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (40 hours)
