Manpower are searching for an experienced Planning Co-Ordinator to support with the delivery of a new project.

The successful candidate will join our client who is a leading global paints and coatings company and a major producer of special chemicals, with leading market positions and brands in countries around the world.   • Planning Co-Ordinator
  • Located in Felling - Gateshead
  • Salary range up to £27,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 36.15 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate daily reports for the planning team
  • Assist supply team in inventory management/life cycle management
  • Update meeting pack for daily planning meeting
  • Provide an element of admin support to the planning team
  • Update/manage New Product Introductions within ERP system
  • Provide general planning cover to both Marine/Yacht teams
  • Communicate with COS Desk personnel to share back to stock information, discuss priorities and urgent orders.
  • Perform Product Range Management activities through established processes.
  • Identify improvement activities within the department.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain role is preferred or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written, is required, as is a high level of numeracy.
  • Working to standard processes will be a critical element of this role, as is a strong focus on meeting targets and being able to manage own workload
  • High levels of expertise are required in Excel and Outlook. An excellent understanding of MRP and how to control it/use it is desired, ability to learn quickly essential.
  • A clear understanding of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint an advantage.
