A Senior Media & PR Manager role is available now. Working for a Finance related company in South London. You will have working industry knowledge as a Senior Media & PR Manager. You will have highly effective communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
This is a Temporary role for three months; Full-Time Hours of 37.5 hours per week; Salary up to £36.00 per hour. As the Senior Media & PR Manager you will oversee the company's communications with the press and media. Maintaining positive working relations with all key stakeholders. You will manage all external messages on behalf of the organisation, making sure it is consistent and positive.
Duties
PR Strategy and delivery
Media management; planning and governance including social media engagement
Develop opportunities to raise the awareness and company profile including stakeholders through media relationships and executive speaking opportunities
Managing public affairs, including consultation responses
Comms planning
Liaise with national and trade press
Responsible for crisis planning
Build relationships with press and digital media
Advice Senior members of staff on written comms with the Press
Proof reading and re-edit statements from Senior members to Press, as and when required
Manage various media campaigns throughout the organisation
Ensure the comms tone is consistent with the overall brand
Person Specification
Degree level educated and/or post graduate Diploma in Marketing and/or Communications related discipline.
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of the pensions and investment market ideally gained from an asset manager or within a heavily regulated environment.
Ideally a good understanding of the political landscape and agenda, keeping abreast of such developments and demonstrable experience of recommending appropriate engagement and business development strategies.
Knowledge of the latest online marketing tools including web technologies and the development of social media strategies
Analytical and research skills associated with a modern day, technical and data orientated marketing environment and the ability to share such information in a concise and effective manner
Demonstrable ability to build positive and productive working relationships with a variety of partners including PR agencies, Media contacts, local and national Government representatives, public agencies and statutory authorities.
