The job holder must be able to prioritise their own work load at all times, frequently reacting to unexpected

variances in demand.

They must remain calm under pressure and have the ability to multi-task whilst remaining professional, this

role involves supporting customer demands in a variety of ways.

To support the implementation of new working practices which improve and add quality to the service

offered by the company.

Action the department contingency plans during any IT failures that will enable orders and calls still to be

received and processed during critical times.

The ability to help with the training of temporary staff during peak periods.

To ensure that customer orders and complaints are completed accurately, working to tight deadline to

ensure that all invoice payments and cash collection can be made on time.

To interact with Customers and the Sales Force to develop relationships and maintain brand loyalty by

providing feedback and solutions on customer issues as they arise.

To proactively liaise and negotiate between the depot, stock control, forecasting and our customers during

critical service issues, whilst remaining professional at all times.

To make decisions based on information provided by customers on delivery issues that may be costly to the business. Gathering all the vital data and agreeing a solution that is financially beneficial to the business.

To identify the failure of business critical IT packages that will impact on the receiving and processing of

orders. Ensuring key IT staff are notified and any contingency plan is activated if necessary.

To support the coaching received from Line Manager on call structure to ensure that all customer contact

with the UK Order Processing Team reflects the brand image.

Maintain a good working relationship with internal and external customers by providing a high standard of

service and identifying opportunities that allow continuous improvements in service levels.

Excellent understanding of IT packages - SAP, RightFax, Lotus Notes. Word and Excel.
