Cook

Manpower are recruiting for a Cook to work within a community cafe in Cardiff.

We're looking for an someone who is able to cook meals such as curry, pasta dishes, cottage pie, salads and sandwiches, etc. You will also be required to serve customers, use the till, if necessary (training will be given) and undertake light cleaning of the cafe and thorough cleaning of the kitchen areas.

Knowledge and skills:

• Experience of working as a cook in a catering environment
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene, HACCP and COSHH
• Certificate in Food Hygiene & Safety
• Customer care experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job details:

You will be required to work Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm.

This is a temporary role, initially for 5 weeks with the possibility of being extended.

The role offers an hourly rate of £7.27 per hour with an immediate start.

A DBS check will be required.
