Our Client is a trusted partner of the defence community and is a leading provider of technical and vocational training. They are currently seeking to add a degree qualified Electronic/Control Engineering Academic Trainer to their team in Gosport.

This is a great way to share your skills, knowledge and experience with the future engineers of the Armed Forces and have a real impact on capability. You will be providing engineering students with the fundamental knowledge and skills of electronic engineering right through to Foundation Degree level electronic engineering qualifications.

To begin with you will not be thrown in to the deep end and be expected to lead from the off, you will be coached, mentored and supported to develop your teaching and instructional skills. During this period, you will be provided the opportunity to gain a level 4 qualification in Teaching. Once you have honed your technique you will be leading the way.

In this exciting role you will be managing and instructing military and civilian personnel in electronic Machine Engineering and Mathematics academic modules to Foundation Degree level. Supervise the conduct of laboratory and assignment work in support of their learning. You will be assisting in maintaining and updating training documentation.

For this role you need to be Qualified to Degree level in electronic Engineering or aligned subject. Ideally have prior experience in a teaching or instructional role however this is not essential.
