Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulics) - Long term temporary contract - £Competitive

Manpower are pleased to be working with our client in Plymouth Dockyard to find Mechanical Fitters with Hydraulics experience for an ongoing temporary contract.

About the role

In the role of Mechanical Fitter, you will be undertaking the installation, repair and maintenance of both ship and submarine hydraulic equipment. You will need to follow and interpret technical drawing and work instructions as well as carrying out surveys and pre-refit examination on equipment.

About the candidate

To be successful in the role of Mechanical Fitter in Hydraulics, you must have previous experience in overhauling various equipment including actuators, control blocks, valves, operating cylinders and accumulators. You must also have completed a Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in Engineering.
