Manpower have a unique opportunity for a knowledgable Accounts Individual to join a well established Client in Bridgend

Temporary Maternity Assignment

Responsibilities

Sales Ledger -

  • Dealing with Customer Account queries.
  • Allocate & Reconcile Customer Account Payments.
  • Chase customer aged debtors.
  • Process customer invoices and statements on a monthly basis

Purchase Ledger -

  • Data entry of supplier invoices/credit notes posted to correct account/nominal codes ensuring VAT treatment is entered correctly.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and respond to supplier requests for payment.
  • Chase any credit notes for suppliers when required.
  • Match and verify supplier invoices against delivery notes
  • Handling of supplier invoice queries.

Nominal ledger -

  • Reconciling of daily takings of the Merchants shop.
  • Data entry of bank statements on a daily basis
  • Bank reconciliation on at least a monthly basis

Other duties -

  • Answering telephone calls and emails dealing with enquiries accordingly.
  • Assist Director with general admin.
  • Process weekly payroll using Sage Payroll software includes making payments to HMRC and People's Pension
  • Record and maintain supplier rebate spreadsheet
  • Record employee holidays and update holiday spreadsheet accordingly
  • Adhoc duties & general administration
  • Use of Kerridge K8 software preferred but not essential
  • Use of excel and word essential
  • Basic knowledge of double entry essential

This assignment is for a 9 month contract whilst covering for maternity leave.
