Manpower is currently recruiting for a Finance Transformation Learning and Development Lead to work on an exciting 6-month temporary assignment starting ASAP for our client based in Milton Keynes.

Our client are about to embark in the next phase of Finance Transformation which will involve implementing the new organisation structure as well as the new Finance System. We are looking for a Training & Development specialist to develop the Finance team in readiness for new ways of working including the transition to the new Finance and Business Services operation model, adoption of the new technology and a renewed focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct skills gap and training gap analysis to support design of interventions
  • Responsible for mapping capability requirements for new and updated roles in Finance and Business Services
  • Working with key stakeholders to understand the requirements and ongoing strategic aims to translate into effective delivery plans
  • Defining learning interventions for the Finance and Business Services teams
  • Managing the preparation / Commissioning of training materials
  • Manage the delivery of learning activities to the Finance and Business Services community
  • Provide individual coaching activity to certain specified roles
  • Provide regular updates to the Finance Senior Leadership Team; Finance Transformation Lead; and the Finance Transformation program manager
  • Schedule training sessions, organise information technology and other equipment, and manage course enrolment

Learning & Development Experience

  • Experience of Training needs analysis and design and delivery of development interventions for Finance roles
  • Experience of Transformation in a Public sector environment preferably in Education of a similar or larger size
  • Broader experience of professional Services operating models, process design and change programmes
  • Experience of training for adoption of new Finance systems
  • Experience of management development and a variety of training and development techniques
  • Experience of creating team building interventions

Consulting and collaboration skills

Can work collaboratively with a range of both internal stakeholders at all levels, demonstrates skill in being able to explore needs and identify solutions. Also skilled at managing expectations, coaching others to be self-sufficient and identifying opportunities to upskill colleagues in change/project management techniques

Communication and influencing

Skilled communicator, in both verbal and written form. Must be skilled in preparing and delivering presentations and communications. Confident presenter and public speaker, creative thinker with the ability to work on own initiative.
