Trainee Auditor
Manpower are recruiting on behalf of a large insurance company based in Huntingdon.
We are looking for a proactive, analytical individual who pays strong attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for a proactive individual, looking to develop their career with a role that offers real ownership, whilst remaining in a collaborative environment.
The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, prompt and efficient service to our Brokers, incorporating the group's values in to every procedure.
Key Skills required:
* A competent level of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook
* Good written, oral and communication skills
* A competent level of knowledge of the internal computer system and procedures
* Knowledge of all current and new Products
* General knowledge of the Insurance market and legislation requirements
* Excellent communication skills
* Be approachable and helpful to management and members of staff
* Competent in Maths and English
* A collaborative and innovative approach to working
* Act with integrity at all times when working with stakeholders
Main Responsibilities
* Regular auditing of specified delegated authority schemes and other Insurer schemes.
* Requesting relevant documentation from Brokers necessary to carry out audits
* Advise Brokers of any action needed after audit
* Maintain a compliant audit trail which can be demonstrated and viewed by Insurers, if necessary
* To assist with audits from either an Insurer or on behalf of an insurer via an outsourced company.
* Data entry of Claims Feeds from Insurers
* Data entry of all business transacted through Coronet
* To liaise with Insurance Companies.
* Dealing with Diaries and general administration.
* Engage, motivate and inspire your team, encouraging outstanding operational performance
* Work collaboratively with peers, other departments building one team and one business through our company culture and values
* Dealing with Diaries and general administration.
Compliance Training & Development
* Observe company procedures in the following areas to ensure the firm remains compliant with FCA and other regulations
o Conduct Risk/ Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
o Conflicts of Interest
o Training & Competence
o Financial crime including:
Money laundering
Bribery Act 2010
UK financial sanctions
Data security (including Data Protection Act)
* Produce and maintain own personal development plan
The salary for the trainee is set at £16,010. There for a more experienced auditor there is the opportunity for an increased salary rising to £20,000.
