Repairs and Maintenance Operatives - Swindon

Due to expansion our well established client is looking for a Property Repairs and Maintenance Operative to cover the Swindon Area, this is a permanent role working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm at a salary of £21k + £4k Vehicle Allowance = £25kpa, For more information please see below;

Duties and Responsibilities

Carry out tasks in occupied and empty properties as follows:-

• Plumbing - Repairs and Minor Installations
• Carpentry - Repair of windows, doors, frames, UPVC components, sofits and facia. In addition the fitting or repair of architraves, skirting bath pane and frames, fitting Kitchen units and worktops.
• Plastering - Re-skimming, rendering, patching and artex.
• Painting and Decorating - Remove required wall paper and loose paint. Repair cracks and holes. Painting and Hanging wide width and domestic paper.
• Groundwork - Fencing repairs and renewals.
• To clean all Communal areas, offices and toilets when required. To ensure that all accommodation is clean and fit for purpose.

Required skills

Previous property and repair maintenance experience

• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good computer skills

Other details

Need a driving license, their own van and tools.

• A DBS check will be completed before employment starts.
• 20 days holiday rising to 25 with service
• Pension and Life Insurance
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
• Salary £21k plus $k vehicle allowance total 25k
