Postal Walker - Bury St Edmunds

Manpower has a great opportunity for five postal delivery staff to join Royal Mail in Bury St Edmunds. You will be joining a large well admired company and be working on the front line of their delivery service.

This role is with an immediate start will be an ongoing position for the right candidate.

You will be require to work any 5 days from 6 (excluding Sundays) and will be expected to work around 30 hours per week. You will be carrying out the delivery of letters in and around Bury St Edmunds, so a good geographical knowledge of that area is essential. You will initially be carrying out the deliveries on foot, but after a few weeks will be trained to carry out deliveries in a Post van.

Normal start time is around 8am. The rate of pay is £8.70 for all hours worked Monday to Friday and £9.70 for any hours worked on a Saturday. After 12 weeks, the rate of pay will increase to £11.20 per hour.
