I am currently working with a fantastic client based in the Southampton area, they are looking to add a Depot Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a truly specialist company in their industry.

Based out of their Depot in Eastleigh you will support the team in the preparation, testing and repair of generator sets. Unlike other Depot Engineer roles, this position requires you to be flexible as on occasion you will be called to breakdowns of generator sets that are on site.

Ideally you will have served an approved apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, however other City and Guild, BTEC or NVQs will be considered. Proven experience working on Cummins, Perkins or FG Wilson sets would be a real advantage.

You will ideally possess good fault-finding skills and be able to respond to customer requirements and questions clearly and effectively.

In return for this you will receive £25,000 - £27,000 + overtime and call out, call out is on a 1 week in 4 basis. Additional to this you will receive a company van, uniform, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, private medical scheme and life assurance scheme.
