Manpower is currently recruiting for a Communications Manager to work on an exciting permanent position in the People Services unit at the Open University based in Milton Keynes.

The Open University are looking for someone to help develop and lead the implementation of an internal communications strategy which aims to engage and inform staff across the unit. You will develop the infrastructure required to bring the strategy to life, maintain schedules and milestones for planned activities, and advise colleagues across the Division on appropriate communications solutions. You will also plan and oversee activity across the Division aimed at promoting People Services to key stakeholders.
You will have exceptional attention to detail along with the proven ability to write clear, engaging and accessible communications for different audiences and using different channels such as events, online newsletters and the intranet. Experience of managing internal communications effectively in a large organisation and excellent verbal communication and networking skills are also essential.
