Manpower are currently working in partnership with one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, they are currently looking to appoint an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer To work in their facility in Gloucestershire.

About the role

You would be responsible for managing the development lifecycle of electrical and electronic components from concept through to testing commercialisation and sustaining. You will test components to withstand extreme conditions including temperatures in excess of 200 degrees or pressure of 30,000PSI. You will work with other disciplines including electrical and software engineers to design a full electrical systems. You will assist in creating technical and validation plans and help to develop new principals and concepts.

About You

You will be qualified to either Meng or MSc standard in Electrical &/or Electronic Engineering and have experience in the following areas:

• Electrical/Electronic Design
• Have an interest in digital design, and microprocessors , power electronics, and motor control
• Knowledge of Assembler, C, RTOS
• Electronics assembly and disassembly
• Schematic CAD.
