A fantastic opportunity for a Strategic Communications Manager, based in London or Newcastle.

You will be excellent at storytelling as a Strategic Communications Manager with the ability to consistently increase the brand profile and elevate the platform on all the incredible projects that this organisation funds.

The Strategic Communications Manager role is a Temporary (Fixed Term Contract) post for 6 months,

Salary £17.00 -22.00 per hour, pending experience. Hours are 37 per week full-time.

Delivering Risk & Crisis communications management; handling sensitive issues with the media and external stakeholder audiences

Developing a cross channel responsive channel strategy

Duties

Managing and running the Press Office; handling media enquiries

Managing the team; mentoring staff

Developing integrating communications campaigns

Measuring team performance across various accounts

Building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders; supporting the fund's objectives

Monitor audience reach with activity

Utilising audience engagement across digital, social media, brand and Public Affairs

Working within the fund's policy's and procedures that align with the fund's vision and principles

Set strategies based on audience analysis and an understanding of communication and engagement channels

Demonstrable familiarity of public policy of funding bodies

The capability to interpret complex policy ideas and objectives with effective comms with concise messages
