Warehouse Assembly Operative

Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Light Assembly (Re-label) Department

Job Type: Temporary ongoing with the view of going permanent for the right candidate

Salary: £8.21 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 OR 09:30 - 18:00 (as the needs of the business dictate)

Location: Luton

My client is looking for a Warehouse Operative who is hardworking, ambitious and flexible. This role provides an ideal environment for those with the right drive and attitude to excel and fulfil their potential.

Light Assembly/Re-label

• Pick components for re-label jobs using the Warehouse Management System
• Work quickly and accurately to assemble final product
• Book product back into stock using the Warehouse PDA scanner devices

General duties including tidying/cleaning warehouse, picking and packing

Required:

• Standing or walking up to 8 hours a day
• Lifting and moving products up to 20kg, in some instances at a height of approx. 2 metres
• Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
• "Can do" attitude and excellent attention to detail
• Good computer skills are important to be able to be trained to use the warehouse computer system
• Good administrative skills with Microsoft Office
• Good command of written and spoken English language
