Job Details
Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers is looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join their team. The role based in Barnwood, Gloucester will provide business support to the Independent Nuclear Assurance team. This role is a fulltime role (37 hours per week) and the successful candidate will be working for Manpower on an ongoing assignment with our client.
Required:
A proactive and experienced administrator, equipped with excellent IT skills is required to provide support to Independent Nuclear Assurance.
Nature and Scope
Reporting to the INA Business Support Lead, the individual will provide support to a number of different INA processes. They will be required to take initiative to ensure that tasks are completed to a high standard and within stated timescales.
The individual will form part of a wider business support team and will at times be required to provide support and / or absence cover to other team members
Principal accountabilities
Proactively supports the INA planning and training processes; regular updates to plan / training data and provision of weekly / monthly metrics are fundamental aspects of this role.
Attends and plays an active part in training committee meetings, takes actions, circulates post meeting and follows up as required.
Prepares / circulates monthly accountability information, and proactively follows up on outstanding issues
Looks for opportunities to improve upon existing systems for the effective function of the office.
Produces and circulates weekly management meeting packs
Maintains the INA organisation chart and INA intranet pages
Provides document management support to INA
Completes small projects as set by the INA Business Support Team Lead
Skillset:
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office products (e.g. Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel) is required, along with excellent organisational skills.
Good quality English language and excellent written communication skills, with a good understanding of English grammar and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills are a necessity.
