Manpower is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join one our most valued clients, a multinational Manufacturing of Metal Products. To be based at their state-of-the-art facility in Plymouth, the Industrial Engineer will play an integral role in the responsibility of optimising the optimising the manufacturing processes across the site

As an Industrial Engineer you will be:

  • Optimising machinery to ensure world class manufacturing levels are maintained.
  • Creating new maintenance processes around new equipment coming into the site.
  • Using Lean principles to make improvements across site such as, the layout, materials float etc
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement across the site at all levels of employees.

To be successful in the role you will have the drive to develop your career. In addition, you will be expected to have the following skills and experience:

  • A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience of high-volume sheet metal.
  • Experience of using Lean tools and techniques.
