An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading utilities supplier as an Administrator Assistant, our client are currently seeking 3 x Drawings/Design Data Capture Technicians based out of Chesterton, but field based working in and around the Stoke-on-Trent, Northwich & Macclesfield areas. This a full-time temporary contract for 12 months paying in the region of £24,583. You will need a UK driving license, as you will be supplied with a company van to carry out the role. For this role training will be supplied.

Job Purpose
Accurately capture asset data using a combination of paper-based mapping and tablets with ESRI / Acumen software and support the Design Lead in managing a mains replacement of works.

Technical Operations
* Liaise with designers to ensure all information within project packs for each street is complete and accurate on a weekly basis
* Undertake regular site visits to ensure project packs are a true reflection of the actual site works
* Create Project Construction Drawings and supporting documents - As Laid/Abandon Drawings/Spans
* Support the site manager in accurately recording asset errors as per the CG asset error recording process and provide all supporting information
* Liaise with the Engineering Design Lead to define the type of data and data fields to be captured
* Identify asset types and dimensions and record them accurately, onsite.
* Support the Engineering Design Lead in ensuring that deviations/deltas from the planned programme of works are managed in accordance with the weekly track sheet process; ensuring all asset error records and/or Design Amendment Forms are in place when required
* Support the Data Assurance team in resolving queries or rejections in a timely manner to ensure accurate and timely asset data updates
* Ensures the asset database is maintained and managed appropriately

Health and Safety and Compliance
* Reports any incidents and/or accidents whilst on site
* Completing all relevant compliance documentation, including compliance with the CG Pipe Asset Recording Procedure
* Ensure compliance with all HSE procedures & Ofgem regulatory requirements
Leads by example when undertaking site activities

Knowledge and experience
* Knowledge of working within an integrated team comprising of permanent and contract supplier organisations
* Good data analysis techniques / data integrity techniques
* Good attention to detail / Good numerical skills
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office products and creation of Excel Spreadsheets
* Valid UK Driving License

* ESRI and SAP Data Capture Systems / ESRI Collector Systems / Acumen Data Capture mobile applications
* DR4 - Management Procedure for Asset Records Error Management for CG Pipes and Associated Plant
* DR23 - Management Procedure for Pipe Asset Record Update and Validation
* Other CG Policies & Procedures beneficial / relevant to the role
* EUSR - Utility SHEA Gas safety training
* Ongoing mentoring, assessment and support
