An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Project Manager (HR) based at their prestigious facility in Kingston. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 Months, to start ASAP, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying between £31,600 and £39,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Agile working available. Applicant must be flexible on working hours.

Background to the role

As an organization, we believe that 'people with purpose' thrive. We are collaborating with the London School of Economics on a groundbreaking study to aim to quantify the business impact of helping people discover their purpose.

This is a 6-months learning effectiveness measurement longitudinal study involving 3500 employees in 14 countries, covering all clusters. As project manager you will be responsible for ensuring that progress continues smoothly throughout the study period, supporting the global core project team and the local markets with the steps that need to be taken. Countries are at different stages in the project, so tasks will be varied dependent on the country you are working with.

As project manager you will be responsible for operational project management to ensure smooth progress and that key milestones are met throughout the study period. The role is global in scope supporting the global core project team and the local country teams with the key steps that need to be taken. You will be working with a core team of 5, including HR Engagement leads, Academic lead and Learning lead & systems lead (based between London & Barcelona) but also with key HR local leads from each of the countries involved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Ensure learning effectiveness measurement progress
  • Track & manage the progress of all steps in project flow
  • Ensure actions are followed up in a timely manner and Flag any progress risks
  • Engage additional team members as necessary, Information storage & maintenance
  • Collecting, cleansing, updating and monitoring data for an accurate effectiveness measurement
  • Establish close relationships with several countries around the world
  • Regular follow up of roll out plans with each country
  • Regular advice and support to each country lead and Support each country providing key resources
  • Regular countries guidance throughout the project, ensure project ground rules are being followed.
  • Quality control for each learning intervention (format, duration, facilitation…)
  • Provide resources, advise about preparation and support local facilitators and Quality control for learner messages, invites, learning format, etc.

Skills & Experience required

  • High attention to detail
  • Working with multiple stakeholders
  • Project management experience and retro management and time management skills
  • High level of responsiveness and proactivity and problem solving thinking mode
  • Fluency in English language
  • Flexible and able to work across a geographically dispersed team

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience in global project management within HR and specifically learning
  • Experience in learning effectiveness measurement
  • Expertise in Cornerstone learning management system
