An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading utilities supplier as an Administrator Assistant, our client are currently seeking an Administrator Assistant based in Hinkley, Leicestershire. This a full-time temporary contract for 6 months + paying in the region of £16,185 equivalent to £8.30 per hour.

Job Purpose

Compliance - Our compliance team chase jobs that are going out of standard, chasing Repair Supervisors and communicate any changes to Highway Authorities.

Error Management - Investigate and entering jobs when work orders have not gone through to the Highway Authorities Portal (EToN), requiring good memory for detail, interrogating notices and challenging made in the EToN.

Defects - Receiving and processing urgent defect calls from Highway Authority. Processing of non-dangerous defect inspections from EToN.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to ensure that successful relationships are established and maintained with internal and external parties.

  • A flexible and adaptable approach to the changing needs of the business' Health and Safety obligations.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team, in a dynamic environment. Ability to use own initiative and work independently.

  • Ability to embrace new challenges and drive themselves forward to develop their career prospects.
  • Previous office experience and the ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to read and understand legislation.
  • They need to have good telephony skills for both listening, recording and conveying.
  • They must have a high level of computer literacy for data input skills,

Key Tasks

  • Setting up/issuing reports to ensure compliance
  • Managing SAP errors and held notices
  • Raising notices/permits for GDSP partners
  • Processing EToN defect inspections
  • Receiving and issuing out urgent defect reports
  • Maintaining accurate records in database
  • Business as usual activities
  • Processing EToN Comments & Challenges
