Construction Manager

We are currently working with a large Engineering Design and Build Consultancy who are looking to appoint a Construction Manager to manage the construction of modular builds from initial design through to hand over.

Reporting into the Project Manager you will manage and administer the delivery of modular/prefabricated projects, managing staff, sub-contractors, and the project construction. You will manage the day to day running of the site, ensuring that all activity is progressing to the engineering plan and is also carried out to the required H&S standards. You will help troubleshoot any engineering problems and feedback to relevant departments if there are any issues. You will be responsible for full project delivery on site and will work with the planners to ensure a feasible project plan is created.

You will have experience taking an engineering project from pre-construction concept through to handover, managing and incorporating multi-disciplined engineering work scopes. You will be an experienced people manager, able to balance managing company staff as well as various sub-contractors working towards a shared project goal. You will have experience coordinating with Project Planners and coordinating with engineering teams to trouble shoot any engineering problems on site.
