My Client is a World Class Manufacturing & Recycling site with a reputation for excellence in the industry. I am currently engaged to find the next E C & I Engineer to be a part of their continued growth & success.
What will your new job look like on a day to day basis:
- You will ensure the reliability of the manufacturing processes, supporting the stability & the performance of physical assets by defining and setting standards for the proper management and care of the assets and installation under your responsibility while ensuring optimum levels of availability, at the lowest total cost of ownership.
- It will be your responsibility to demonstrate a strong Electrical, Control, Automation and Instrumentation skills with minimum HNC qualification (depending upon experience) to BEng in Electrical/Instrumentation.
- Your constant support will help deliver all electrical activities across site. - inclusive of CAPEX/Revenue projects & delivering Reliability, Site services, improving process performance through OEE improvements.
- You will have a strong understanding of the short to medium term to move the performance of the plant to one that is proactive, while supporting the day-to-day plant activities to ensure that the processes are reliable & sustainable.
- Developing relations with all operations & develop timely plans will reduce maintenance cost and impact to the process. (Internal relationships; Engineering Manager, Site Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Supervisor/Schedulers, Energy & Refractory Manager, Shift Leaders, Process Leaders.)

Cost
Lowest cost of ownership. Life cycle costing.
Control of spend v each of the physical assets.
Maintenance
Preventive maintenance improvement
Delivery of CAPEX & Revenue projects
Spares for each asset.
Obsolescence planning and execution for Automation system
Calibration system of critical assets
Predictive Maintenance (PCM) and aiding with the development of PdM's
Performance
Monitoring the performance of the assets through key KPI's; OEE, MTTR, MTBF
Training
Training Reliability as a culture
Health & Safety
Ensure conformance of the site QEHS policy when carrying out maintenance activities
Internal relationships; Engineering Manager, Site Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Supervisor/Schedulers, Energy & Refractory Manager, Shift Leaders, Process Leaders.
