I am exclusively recruiting for AA Ireland for a Risk Manager to join their Risk & Compliance team, the role is based here in their Head Office in Dublin City Centre.

This is a full time, permanent position offering a very competitive salary package including basic salary, bonus, pension, benefits and allowances, Monday to Friday.

Overview:
The Risk Manager's role will provide support to the Head of Risk & Compliance in managing the AA Ireland Risk Management Framework. This includes but is not limited to risk reporting, risk incident management, management of risks and mitigating controls and oversight/reporting of risk snap checks.

Responsible for:
*Ongoing management of the AA Ireland Risk Management Framework by liaising with risk owners to document and quantify risks and associated controls
*Contribute to the review and ongoing maintenance of the operational risk framework and supporting policies and procedures
*Oversight and reporting of snap checks to ensure that controls are adequate
*Oversight of risk incident reporting process including introduction of new controls as appropriate
*Maintenance and continuous improvement of risk awareness and training across all levels of the organization including measuring same
*Monthly reporting on current risks, horizon risks, risk incidents and snap checks
*Ad-hoc support to the Risk & Compliance team on compliance issues - complaints, errors, data subject requests etc.
*Guidance to the business including input to projects, ad-hoc queries from stakeholders, etc.
*The Risk & Compliance function is fast paced and works on both a proactive and reactive level. This role will feed into both proactive and reactive tasks.
*Proactive tasks are outlined above and planned for. An example of reactive is high profile media complaint, large regulatory error etc., that requires immediate input and support.

Your Experience:
*Experience of 2+ years risk management experience
*LCOI qualified or equivalent
*3rd level degree in finance, business, law or similar
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Deep understanding and knowledge of the Irish regulatory environment and how to apply it to a business environment
*Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative
*Ability to work across all AA functions and levels
