Hiab and Class C Driver

We are currently seeking a permanent Category C and Hiab Class Driver in Tamworth working 07:00-16:00, Monday - Friday at £22-24kper annum depending on experience, for more information please see below;

Job Introduction

Based in our Tamworth depot, the role of HGV Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a Class 1 Hiab vehicle, moving our assets around our network and delivering hire equipment to our customers. This role is vital to our operation; you will ensure that we have assets in the correct locations so we can successfully fulfil our customers' requirements.

Main Responsibilities

As a HGV Driver for Speedy you will ensure that we are providing the best customer care, moving equipment around our network and delivering hire equipment to our customers. Our drivers are helpful, professional and understand that the customer is at the heart of everything we do.

Safety is paramount to us and the first priority in everything we do, we will provide you a top quality truck that is safe, compliant and comfortable. Part of your role as a HGV driver will be to carry out the appropriate vehicles checks and ensure that any issues with your truck are reported immediately to your Transport Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

Cat C+E driving licence

CPC and Digi Card

Experience driving within the UK

Good knowledge of the local area

Strong customer focus

Ability to adapt to new situations

A desire to learn and expand product knowledge

Good attitude to work

Desirable
