Junior Business Development Executive

PRIMARY ROLE - To deliver sales revenue target through direct and indirect sales to existing hotels and new hotel openings whilst building on the existing distributor relationships to make this happen seamlessly for our clients.

SELLING TO EXISTING PROPERTIES

    New Client Prospecting - Calling & Sending emails to introduce product to potential clients and create new OpportunitiesQualify In-coming Direct Enquiries - 1st point of contact to call & qualify direct enquiries from your region. Follow process to add client, raise Opportunity and follow Reactive Sales ProcessSend out catalogues to the potential clients or to update existing clientsBooking & Arranging Sales Meetings - for self & Field Sales ManagersSupport corporate marketing campaigns - in your region

SELLING TO HOTEL OPENING PROJECTS

    Identify and systematically manage and drive sales conversion of all 5* hotel openings in your regionDevelop relationships with key stakeholders for each project: Architects, Designers, Procurement, DistributorsManage the ongoing status of opening properties in our CRM from openings to existing properties

PIPELINE MANAGEMENT

    Take full responsibility for the quality of your personal pipeline - leads you have generated and projects valued <£3k. Ensure that you are generating enough incoming leads and opportunities for you to be able to extrapolate sales conversion that meets your sales target.Ensure that your Opportunities are always up to date in terms of next future activity, status notes, stage, value, expected date so that the value of your pipeline within a given month = your best estimated forecast of expected sales in that month (especially for the forthcoming quarter.

DATABASE MANAGEMENT

    Keep client database updated for your region - adding new contacts / updating roles/adding new properties/Ensuring all Clarity fields are complete & up-to-dateEnsure duplicate companies and contacts are properly updated in the system
GENERAL REPRESENTATIVE AND FIELD SALES SUPPORT

    Support 3rd party Sales Reps and our own Field Sales to ensure they maximise their time sellingOccasionally attending shows to assist in show set-up / managing sales leads / talking to potential new clientsFollowing new trends and suggesting alternative ways to market to our clientsTrack & report competitor activityTrack & manage sample send outs to maximise the sales opportunity

Skills and Experience

    1-3 years' Experience in an active sales0-1 years' experience in Hospitality SalesConfidence in working directly with a professional client face to face & on the phoneExperience working within a sales teamPro-active management & improvement of the customer experience.Self-management required as team is often travelling and times in office may conflict
