Class 1 HGV Driver

A very rare opportunity has arisen to join Manpower to work on a long term part time assignment with our client, based on Thorpe Road in Norwich.

We are looking for a professional, flexible and reliable Class 1 driver to carry out between 1 and 3 shifts per week. The majority of shifts will be on nights, but some day shifts are available.

The job will involve the trunking of letters and parcel to our clients hubs, based around the UK. Typical runs will be to Northampton, Chelmsford, Peterborough and Atherstone.

The rates of pay for the first 3 months will be between £10 and £15 per hour, depending on the start and finish time. However, after 3 months, in line with the Agency Workers Regulation, the rates of pay will increase to between £17 and £19.54 per hour.

A full induction will be required prior to assignment, which will include a driving assessment, site tour and Health and Safety briefing. This will take around 4 hours and is paid upon completing your first shift.

This is a weekly paid position and full uniform and PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times whilst working.
