Windscreen Repair Assistant

Manpower is currently recruiting for Technical Assistants for a windscreen repair company based in Swindon.

Key Tasks:

• Partnered with a skilled technician as fitting support
• Removes wipers and scuttle (not trims)
• Prepares new glass for fitment
• Once glass in place refits scuttle and wipers
• Cleans glass and work area ready to hand keys and vehicle back to the customer
• Assist technician with the loading and unloading of vans each day and preparing stock for deliveries

Requirements:

• Able to undertake a physical role which includes manual dexterity and working outside
• Good customer service skills
• Able to work weekends as well as weekdays
• UK full driving licence required (to include Category B, Light Commercial Vehicle, 3.5T)
• Flexible and adaptive
• Positive mind-set

Having relevant experience is desirable as full training is provided but being computer literate and ability to complete manual lifting is essential. A driving licence is not essential but desirable.

The hours for this position start at 6:00am, working on average 42hours per week, Monday to Friday.
