Quality Control Engineer

Manpower are currently working with a leading design and build consultancy who have recently won a major project. As a result of this they are looking to appoint a Quality Control Engineer to their team.

Reporting into the Quality Manager you will carry out quality inspections and audits to ensure that the project is progressing to the client's quality requirements. You will prepare relevant ITP's and help assess the quality systems of sub-contractors. You will push a quality focused approach on site and assist the Quality Manager in raising any concerns with sub- contractors. You will keep records and reports of QC and audit activity, recording problems and non-conformance when necessary.

You will have experience in a construction environment, having previous experience on construction, electrical, and pipework. You should be a good communicator, used to working on projects with multiple subcontractors and be able to ensure everyone is aware of quality requirements. You will be computer literate and able to use and update a QMS.
