Tooling Stores Attendant

We have a great opportunity for a Stores Person with a background within a Machine Shop or Machine Tooling. The role is to work straight days with an early finish on a Friday. This is a newly created position and will initially be for 6 months but has the potential to become a permanent position.

Your role will involve supporting the tooling manager in establishing the tool stores. You will receive, store and issue a wide variety of tools and equipment. Stock taking, ordering of parts and maintaining an inventory will be part of your duties and some basic computer skills will be necessary. The ability to service, repair and inspect tools and equipment will be required.

Ideally you will be an apprentice trained machinist or have a strong knowledge of machining tools and requirements. Benefits include 33 days holiday a year, free parking and a subsidised gym. The option of being paid self-employed is also available.
