My Client is a global leading manufacturer of technical mortars and high-performance coatings & paint products, specialising in concrete repair and protection products. Due to a period of growth & increased sales, I am happy to be supporting them with introductions into their Manufacturing Teams for Process/Blending Operatives. Working with raw materials to create batched/recipe blended end products, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) & supporting fellow Team members too as part of your working day.

We are a leading global paints and coatings company, supplying market-leading brands and products to industries and consumers around the world. Our paints activities are focused on the Buildings and Infrastructure end-user segment, while our coatings protect, color and enhance everything from ships, cars, aircraft and architectural components to consumer goods (mobile devices, appliances, beverage cans and furniture), wind turbines and oil and gas facilities.

Having worked in the manufacturing or process industries and gained a FLT licence you are now looking for a new opportunity in a business that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and act on them. That business is AkzoNobel and this role as Production Operator in our concrete repair and protection business is just the position you are looking for.

As a Process/Blending Operator you will prepare, load and fill specified recipes in-line with manufacturing schedules. You will follow Standard Operating Procedures for running mixers, ensuring product is of the highest quality and meets specifications. Important will be the ability to work safely and keep your work area clean and tidy. You will record data for KPI reporting too. You will also develop your own skills to support the team to deliver results.

As well as the above experience, you will have gained good grades in English and Maths, you will be numerate and able to read and understand numbers and percentages as well as interpret and manipulate data. You will also be IT literate in basic word processing and data storage applications.

A team player you have a flexible approach and good communication skills. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.

New Starter - minimum salary £18,000 rising to £19,000 after 12 months and £20,000 after 18 months

Skilled Operator - minimum salary £20,000 rising to £21,500 after 6 months and £23,000 after 18 months
