An Amazing opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Specialist to work full time at our client's site in Runcorn. The working hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm (37.5 hours) paying between £24 p/h on a temporary basis until the end of December 2019.

You will interface with internal stakeholders including Line of Business (LOB) leadership, marketing, sales, channel partners and legal and be responsible for collaborating/influencing leads to execute the requirements and measure results. This role will work closely with commercial security leaders and collaborate with other divisions where there are offering/channel synergies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing operations strategy and demand generation activity within the Commercial Security line of business for BLX to support the revenue targets
  • Strategy should be focused on digital initiatives
  • Support key/defined regional tradeshows and events
  • Develop/execute campaigns/promotions to achieve region targets
  • Develop/support the development of zero-base budget, planning and reporting
  • Develop MOS for working with countries specified
  • Oversee marketing operations activities within BLX
  • Manage/execute NPI launch plans in BLX
  • Provide Marketing Operations support for the Distribution Program in BLX
  • Support critical business objectives for the Commercial Security business as assigned
  • Work effectively with leadership as an adviser, critical resource and change agent and be able to work seamlessly with colleagues in other functions, LOBs, businesses and other regions
  • Lead the transformation of Marketing Operation practices with the creation of a newly integrated Customer Marketing Team with the objectives of improving service and quality; reducing costs; and migrating toward more contemporary practices for an enhanced customer experience
  • Drive continuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 5 or more years' experience in marketing/communications environment
  • Experience of executing integrated marketing communications across several countries
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Both corporate and agency experience desired
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and execute successful Communication / PR and marketing programs
  • Strong strategic thinking/planning skills and experience, with a proven track record of executing high-impact, results-oriented integrated marketing communications programs
  • Excellent business writing and editing skills
  • Excellent organisational and project planning skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with and managing outside agencies, Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to motivate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and matrixed environment
  • Additional language to English is Essential ideally Dutch or French.
