Seafreight Operator

Manpower are currently working with an internationally recognised forwarding expert looking to expand their team.

Our Client holds a global presence and has specialised in International trade for over 30 years and has recently experienced an intense growth period. With an excellent pathway for career progression, our client has a dedicated in-house training team to provide a wide-range of specialist and technical training alongside cutting-edge in-house IT solutions.

Widely regarded as an expert in their field, our client therefore requires candidates have previous freight-forwarding experience; preferably dealing with Seafreight Imports or Exports.

Our client offers an excellent base salary which is negotiable dependant on experience, alongside an excellent healthcare scheme and other perks to enjoy outside of work.

Day-to-day duties may include:

• Dealing with shipping lines/clients on a daily basis
• Prepare import/export documentation
• Preparing commercial invoices/ Bills of lading
• Managing the life cycle of a shipment
